A gorgeous antique Edwardian pendant from the early 1900s fashioned in 9ct gold with a pretty cherry-pink almandine garnet at its heart, haloed by white seed pearls and eight flowers branching out from the centre, also decorated with pearls and garnets.
Garnet is the birthstone of January and has been desired throughout history for its strength and blazing crimson-red or cherry-pink flame that glows beneath its dark exterior. It’s considered a stone of the heart and is symbolic of passion and enduring love.
It’s a beautiful design, in excellent condition and would look perfect on the end of a gold chain.
